Dan is the finals night a home game for the oak?? as looking at it nearly all of the players are from there. ha ha ha.

A neutral venue hosting this game.
Either The Hawthorn or Rhyd Rugby Mid way between the 2 teams being more feasible.

I've sorted that problem richie, your side fagins b, i've let stuart know that the team you were meant to play wednesday the griffin, want to play you lot at your place, because they already have a team playing down theirs wednesday, so instead of the griffin playing home to you, your going to be playing home to the griffin, so there's 1 fagins team home wednesday, and i was told there was space for 3 boards for the competitions, there's a portable oche, i was told about, message me back when you read this please?

Hi everyone i will be calling an agm on the 30th september to discuss a few things, since mark emery has left the league i'm not sure how to do the competitions, but i can do the top 16 qualifying cup, what i'm thinking is to leave the team. pairs and singles competitions for next season and start fresh, The teams that have enter for the competitions this season pay just £25.00 next registration night. the ideas so far as as below

idea 1 - team game 701 and best of 3

idea 2 - 2 doubles and 7 singles

idea 3 - 9 singles any player can play twice

idea 4 - team game - 1 doubles and 7 singles

any ideas put them on here and we can talk about it when the Agm comes around

Well presented Agm to you both and was good to see a nice turn out, hope next season goes well for you all.

AGM MAIN POINTS

Meeting Started with Dan Handing out account sheet with all outgoing & Incoming monies

then we got onto team registrations which sadly to say the Masons have Dropped out along with Tynant
but Fagins , hawthorn and Royal Oak have all put in a second team which takes the league upto 10 teams

i then put to the floor about the seasons tournaments being split around the venues and it was voted unanamously
to keep them as we done this season with 3 person team and doubles at 1 venue and singles at 2 venues which solly
and myself will run.

it was then brought up by a league member who wanted to know who is currently on the comittee which my response was Dan, Mike and dennis as chairman and with ross resigning i was voted on as league sec,then the question was asked why do we need a chairman and why was mike on the comittee as his team no longer in the league to which the outcome was a vote by the floor to have the league run by dan and myself and to exclude dennis and mike off the comittee with immediate effect

i would like to thank Dennis and mike for the input they have had in the league and also Ross for the brilliant job he has done

a big thank you to fagins for having us and putting on food
and a last thank you for all your input and for putting your teams in league

i met up with dan tonight to go through the comps and this is what we came up with

3 man team.....Station Inn.... 25th April....7.30 roll call
Doubles...........Royal Oak......2nd May......7.30 roll call
Singles...........Royal oak & Station Inn.....9th may....7.30 roll call

the singles will be split over 2 venues with 1 winner from each.
the draw will be done when we play the 3 man event to give you plenty
of notice which venue you are playing at

this just provisional as Dan and myself will put the finishing touches to
the comps and i will drop a sheet of the final decisions within the next week
into each venue

guys...i will be meeting Dan Tuesday evening to start the ball rolling with regards to the competitions and all other issues regarding next season so there will be a post put on here tomorrow night with all the info you need

hopefully we can get a comittee in place to start the new season and also a comitee that can take the
league forward with an interest to improve the league as a whole.

if anyone is interested in joining the comitee put your name forward to dan or myself and we will put this to the floor when we arrange the AGM as its the people that represent the league that should decide the people to take the league forward.

last words as league sec! the "chariman" dennis had foned our league treasurer daniel tonight demanding his tenner for replacing the something on the shields, he has been told many times that the money from the league account can only be taken out if 2 people are there to withdraw it as 2 peoples names are required on the cheque to take any money out at any time, i wish people would bloody listen as it is becoming a habit now!, daniel is thinking of resigning as treasurer now due to the hassle he has also had from dennis, joking chairman if u ask me, age doesnt matter, if u want to be chairman then live up to the expectation of being one!, thanks al for the support u have given me as league sec and webmaster over the seasons that i have ran, the tournaments that i have ran and all the new things that i have brought into the league during my time, especially lindsey, martin and all the team from rhydyfelin, the station, the masons, the lewis arms, the hawthorn, fagins, taffswell and mark simmons of the royal oak who has backed me all the way from the very start, the website will remain open for the next week until things have been sorted with the money to purchase the website as it is property of mine. cheers c u all soon.

The cheque is all written out which is to be donated, the sum of which is £184.30. Mark simmon's of the royal oak will be given the cheque to hand over to the charity in due course. ok

ross it saddens me to see the remarks you and your father have posted on guestbook 2 days after the event robert got in touch with our captain and apologised for his actions and resigned from the team ,dennis only requested the meeting to try and take theheat out of the situation , having talked to other members of the league they agreed that a player could only be banned after having a meeting of the league . Anyway we all no that more than one person acted badly on that night and since there will be a lot of bad feelings between the 2 teams may i suggest that the next fixture between us both be null and void and neither team take any points from the match .I hope this will put an end to the matter ,ps we are still waiting for confirmation that last years donations have been received by the charity concerned ,ken potter

the biggest joke is the meeting tht has been called in the week this thurs the 3rd feb which not many can make as iv been told, the chairman dennis has apparenty called it, this is the first thing that the chairman has done in 5 years of me being involved playing and whatever else of doin anything for the league, its not a comment of hate but of truth, good luck for the rest of the season to everyone and whoever can clean the mess up of the league that will be left cos i dont give a shit no more, 1 person has spoilt the league for everyone and he is a disgrace as far as im concerned!

What committtee??? ross and dan run this league, also the person in question was banned for a totally unprovoked attack on another fellow darts player, for which he was arrested and found guilty.!! also verbally abusing fellow players in the same team, some the age of 12!!!!, ross was abused also and viewed all that went on. This is the worst behaviour i have seen from a so called darts player in 30 yrs of playing darts,total discrace to the sport. And i also will never play again in this league if he plays again.. There you go for being a bad loser!! just for you to know MR A N OTHER.

i will be finishing as league fixture secretary/webmaster next season also so will my team, if that person plays again this season then ill finish straight away as league sec/webmaster and my team will pull out of the league and if someone wants to deal with the mess that will be left should that happen then be my guest, also iv put alot of work and effort into this website so if the new sec next season wants to keep this website then it will cost them, some people dont realise how much work iv put into this league scince iv took over, good luck in finding a more dedicated & hardworking league sec/webmaster than me cos u wont find one!

well with pleasure to say what a game between between tynant club and masons arms, 601 win for tynant club but some of the darts that were thrown were unbelieveable, morgan dobbs with 2 180s, ross robson with 1 and a 110, bill davies with a 141 finish, lee dobbs with a 151, laurie boyle with a 119, absoloutly awesome game to be invloved in, well done everyone tonight

Finals & Presentation Night turned out to be a great night of darts, a big thank you to everyone that turned up and supported the night and the league itself, also a massive thanks to daniel mathias & bill davies for their help and support over the last 4 weeks with the league competitions and everyone else who played a part this season in both the league and the competitions also to rhys and simon for checking aswell.

next season is looking to be an awesome season yet again with 2 new competitions coming in and more interest from other teams with the possibility of bringing back 2 divisions should we reach 16 teams which has a strong chance of doing so

its a proposal to see if anyone wants to do something like it, league entrance is £35.00 per season which covers the comp entrys as we all agreed at the last a.g.m, if money is brought in instead of 180 trophies, highest outs, least darts, etc then there will only be need for trophies for the league winners/runners up and the competition finalists, we have alot of money in the account and a load of people think we should do something with it, we will see what is said in the a.g.m, currently 8 teams registered for next season so that is £280.00 plus fagins are entering which takes it to £315.00 and hoping to take 40/50 pounds from raffles in the next 3 weeks of comps

If we give out cash prizes totaling £415 + trophys what would the overall costs be ?, then the capital coming in is £25 per team enterance + tournament enterys =?
Can the league balance its books on a season by season basis keeping the aditional cash for trophy replacements and expensees

tynant must gain 1 more point than the royal oak to draw level on points but will win the league on total number of matches won.

tynant club and the royal oak win by the same scoreline means the royal oak will win the title by 1 point

if tynant club lose and the royal oak win and both end up on the same wins, losses and points will force a play off.
